Result of EDAA polytunnel vote
The EDAA Polytunnel vote closed at midnight on 31st May /1st June.
The count is tabulated below.
49% of those eligible to vote did so (42/85)
73.81% of those voting felt some polytunnels should be allowed on the EDAA site.
71% of those voting in favour of allowing some polytunnels preferred option 2, where each application is vetted in advance by the site committee.
How to take forward this result will be discussed by the site committee in mid-June.

Options Question
Option 1: No polytunnels should be allowed on the EDAA site 11 (26.19%)
Option 2: Individual polytunnels should be permitted provided the application is sanctioned in advance by the site committee.
(in line with criteria still to be agreed with the EDAA membership) 22 (52.38%)
Option 3: Polytunnels can be erected by individual plot holders without prior permission, provided they comply with criteria agreed with the EDAA membership. Compliance will still be checked but not in advance 9 (21.43%)
